I too have been considering this for chronic pain and mental health. My experiences with weed have not been good in the past because it was street stuff and it gave me racing heart and anxiety. I think if I could go to a dispensory and tell them what I want they would be able to recommend something that will help. I know I would qualify in NJ and they just changed the laws to allow any doctor to refer you to it but it seems like they do not know that. Plus there are no protections for employees. I am trying to get into subsituting and there is a drug screen. I had pain killers for my rotator cuff surgery but its not a healthy solution long term for me. Even with the opiate crisis I am amazed at how I could get oxycodone if I wanted but weed is like demonized.
