Again, I agree! And I ask myself whether or not they knew they were lying. Is it possible they were so imprisoned in their own reality that their lies to you were not "lies" in that reality?

I have met people who, apparently, could not distinguish or had lost the ability to distinguish between the truth and their own lies.
