I worked at a juice bar for 2 years and they refused to use the blender covers because they were lazy. The sounds produced reached harmful decibel levels. I now have high frequency hearing loss, chronic tinnitus that hasn't stopped for a minute and I no longer know what true silence sounds like, and I have a hypersensitivity to sounds that I've never had before and causes me pain throughout my daily life.
