I kind of rushed into work because I was called in, but usually I don't bring such precious items with me. It was the only place that would hire me at the time because it's been hard for me to find a job with no inside connections, buddies etc. (small town, that's how it goes) and I've been desperate for income. It's not just "loud" noises, it's all sounds that are sharp and sudden, even voices or doors and lids closing or keys jingling.
