Do you take fish oil pills? They can lower triglycerides, but it might depend on the situation. H is on cholesterol medication and somehow ended up with high triglycerides, doc told him to take fish oil pills, and his triglycerides went down. Maybe worth discussing with your doc? Of course, H isn’t on psych meds. He has been on thyroid medication for Hashimotos since he was a teenager. He has always been thin and doesn’t eat a bad diet, cannot even tolerate much greasy food, but his dad got high cholesterol quite young while very fit, so they figure there is a genetic element.
