My wife is bipolar type 2. Before her diagnosis was clear she was on Cymbalta and respirdal. Cymbalta made her suicidal.

Cymbalta should never be administered to bipolar people. NEVER

Cymbalta triggered 3 hospitalizations.

She's now on fluoxetine(the only anti depressant that should be given to bipolar individuals)

Her cocktail of the last 10 months consist of

AM.. Fluoxetine.. Lamotrigine.. Lithium
PM Latuda.. Lithium.

She's now stable and functional.
