Thank you everyone for the wonderful suggestions! I suppose I can answer my own question for the sake of someone else seeing it and it helping them.

For me, art helps. Art helps a ton. Art and keeping up with my meds, and talking to people. I try my best to be honest about where I'm at and how I'm feeling.
I've also been learning some good coping skills in my IOP...!! Mostly that distraction can be very helpful. I've also learned to challenge negative thoughts with "this is just a thought"
and it has helped a WILD amount. Journaling is something I've taken up this past week or so, and I've been tracking my mood there. I think it'd be good to start tracking other things as well.
