Oxygen is poisonous, but we'd all miss it if it were gone.

I have just a few friends I can confide in, and I regularly hold it in, for fear of being the whiny, self-pitying looney of the bunch. My trick, if it can be called that, is to write people emails or letters without sending them. It's corny, but if you know the person you can often envision their replies anyway, and it's a good way to verbalize your own feelings. Feel free to post them here, or PM me if you have to send it to someone and you feel the contents might damage a treasured friendship.
