Maybe just a guess here. Maybe the one you need to forgive is yourself for letting him treat you that way? Maybe I'm misreading, but I get this tone from your posts here that you're mad at yourself for helping him. And mad at yourself for being fooled by him. Maybe start by forgiving yourself?
I could be way off but I have this little hunch bc you and I are very similar in many ways.
Also...(¹) you dont have to forgive a monster and (²) monsters behave like monsters because they are monsters. It's just their nature. You cant blame them for their nature. You just make sure to stay away once you learn there's a monster there.
