I will be the dork to reply to my 8 yr old thread..
Over time, i will find this is a common task that many have issues with and yet still wonder if I've been misdiagnosed many times, (not with the PTSD but bipolar) and I am actually more on a spectrum of ADHD ((that as a kid my parents were told something on this but told me it was made up- another story for another day)).
Anyways--
Past Beauflow,
Over time you will find many more lists, you will also forget goals and remember them later. You will spend a year remembering and forgetting why your breaking up with someone and still have moments afterwords not remembering why you broke up.
You'll discover you do better with a whiteboard on the fridge and lists than paper in a note book.
And yet you'll forget this

and then remember again.
Behavioral has some to do with this too... always learning, or hoping that's what is going on.
