It sounds like your future is on track, a job you love, a new marriage (congrats!) and owning property is coming up. . . . nice! Can you share more details about what you need to say to your parents? You appear to be self-supporting, and on your own, so it's likely just a mental/emotional step to take, to be your own person and not "need" parental approval. All of us want our parents approval, even if they aren't/weren't "helicopter" parents. It's normal I think, to want to please our parents. They are our entire world for the first formative years of live, after all!

Can you share more details? Are your parents supportive of your career, your new marriage, etc.?
