I lost mine about 2 weeks ago, and I posted long rants in a separate but similar thread. And I lost my mom about 2 years ago. Both to cancer. Now I have no family left except an estranged older brother who at the moment is not speaking to me.
I wasn't close to him, so it makes grieving "different"....I don't know how to explain it but it's a mixed bag of emotions.
