I have had Mirenas since 2004. Changed every 5 years. On the current one, I do have a little bleeding, but the prior ones eliminated periods completely. I also think (but am not familiar with them) that there are now menstrual cups and other methods where it does not shift or move. But I do get that being period-free is liberating!
