I'm in the UK, my doctors are concerned about me, I've been to the clinics and hospital, but no one will detain me under the mental health act and I also expressed concens. It seems they will only do it if I say I'm going to hurt myself or someone else immediately. If I say I 100% intend to hurt myself at a later date, they don't detain. And even then, if you act fine to the police and say you're not going to do anything then they let you go home
