Possible trigger:

I had an experience with my T where I told him about something that happened in the distant past that I wasn't sure classified as sexual assault. I kind of wanted him to say that it was, but he didn't. When I told him that, he said he didn't want to affect how I classified it. How it was more up to me to determine how I saw it. Which seems kind of the opposite of your T.

But maybe your T thinks you're downplaying something and wants to validate you? I don't know. I think it's a good thing to discuss with her, if it bothered you at all.
