Ptak, you are absolutely correct. an online is definitely not the perfect and safest system to vent your problems. The ways you listed like a hotline or therapist(if a person has one available) are the prime choices. I also think when you mentioned journaling that is an awesome way to get things out even if you are not saying them to another person you are putting them down on a piece of paper or in a book or binder. While writing you can even speak it out while doing it if that helps get it out. I think you gave some awesome ideas.
