As for you failing for being misunderstood, No, No , No this is not your fault. It is exactly what you said it was, "A Misunderstanding of words" that led to alarming someone that led to him choking on food. You cannot control someone misunderstanding something or misinterpreting something you said. People have words that come out of there mouths all the time that are misunderstood every single day. Gosh, this even goes on with misinterpretation of scriptures of the Bible all the time between different denominations and that has been going on for ages with many consequences involved. So I guess what I am trying to say is Misunderstanding happen all the time and they will happen again, but it isn't your fault that this happened.
