I am heading off to my vacation next week, but NEED One.
Here is a question... am i right? We have a scheduling program that we put our leave dates in. My boss has all of next week listed as him being out. One reason I picked it for vacation. This is the same boss who is constantly asking me why I don't take more time off.
After telling everyone in the building -- everyone -- that he wouldn't be around... last night, at 4 pm, not only does he tell me he will be around next Friday but, he schedules something... now I have to get coverage.
Coverage at the last moment, during the time of year when everyone is on vacation.
Here is the truth...I feel like I have worked really hard for him since the get go. My review just came back again "exceeds expectations" -- and I got a bonus. And I feel like because that has happened now... he take me for granted. Whatever he says there is not consequence for because I handle it OR he makes me the fall guy.
I don't know how I am going to make it 10 more years.. I just don't know how.
