so the scoop is that the new place is saying yes to everything else, and as far as the bed bugs, they have to provide an all-clear from the pest control place. the pest control place entered today (without notifying them, which is ammunition for a potential future lawsuit) and found no evidence of bed bugs for the 2 week followup to treatment. Now they do another inspection in a month. that one has to come back clear for them to be able to get the new place. their application at the new place is good for 3 months, so hopefully things will work out at some point eventually. I guess for the next month we still have house guests...

I am thankful it was not a hard NO which is what I had feared. I can live with this. At least for now. I think my son should go over there and turn off the a/c and make sure the place gets as hot as hades during the day so that the heat can continue to kill any bugs that might be hiding. As soon as we get the rest of their stuff out of there this weekend.
