Alex, this is extremely dichotomous thinking. It is possible to believe that there is absolute truth, without insisting that one is personally in possession of all of it.
It is possible to believe that there is ultimately only one way to arrive at a particular destination, but still that people have a choice about taking that route, about what destination they want to arrive at, and about side-trips that they take along the way.
It is possible to believe that what one believes is true, and still that others have much of value that one can learn.
