It was suggested that I had PMDD by a general practitioner. With that my primary sent me to a psychiatrist where I was diagnosed finally with "Bipolar NOS". After seeing me for a while- possibly after one of my psych emergency services visits, my diagnosis was changed to "Bipolar 1". An episode of derealization sent me to the first doctor.
