I am off to meet my local coworkers (much of our team is located in other states) for a Social Responsibility day, we are going to be unloading from pallets/sorting/delivering backpacks filled with school supplies. That's one of the things I like about the company I work for they are big on Social Responsibility and allow us to do things like this on the clock. Last year we built a playground here where I live, in California our team members spent a day working in a soup kitchen place, another day cleaning up a local park, here locally we also do that Christmas in July thing for a foster kids charity org etc. It's nice that our boss is so willing to let us do them too when our workload permits it. It's kind of a team building thing too, I guess. So I probably won't be checking back in until I get home later this afternoon. Hugs/headnods all around as a appropriate.
