I have taken trazodone for 30 years and it still helps me sleep. Never have nightmares. I have taken other drugs that caused strange effects. My advice would be to tell your doc and see if the dosage needs adjusted or maybe try something else. When I took cymbalta, about a year, I had huge vivid technicolor dreams. I put up with it because it was working otherwise. Please discuss it with doc. You tend to hear horror stories rather than success stories online.
