That sucks. Is there another agency you can register with? These agencies are crooked I swear. It is your right not to take a job and they shouldnt hold it against you. Way back when my husband got done with his apprenticeship with the union he was promised big bucks. Then the economy crashed. They had this rule where you couldnt turn down more than three jobs within 60 days or you would be put at the back of the list. And if you take a job and its only short term you get moved to the back of the list. Of course if you kiss butt and schmooze you manage to get the best jobs. He turned down three and we thought we were screwed. He has a duel ticket in teledata in addition to electrical so Princeton U called for a temp hire. He had to take it. Thank god he did because they hired him FT. But that doesnt make it up for almost losing our house, unemployment and his devastating depression. I think hiring halls and agencies are all messed up.
