I'm so sorry, @Icedgem That is truly nasty of him I agree with BOTH divine1966 and Zevvy about her seeing a therapist. Hopefully it won't take too long. As for what to tell her, just tell her that she can ALWAYS see her dad whenever she likes. Hopefully with time she'll understand your TRUE intentions. As for him I'm not sure if confronting him would do him any good but you can try anyway. At the very least, he has no reason to lie to her like that! I'm so sorry for BOTH you and her.
