I think the question might be: Is this a auditory hallucination, or is it some kind of phenomenon?

I have had people tell me both. My last pdoc had told me he also hears music when there are fans/AC units blowing. In his eyes (in his ears, really), this is a phenomenon other than auditory hallucinations.
