I'd suggest to get a lawyer to get help with the divorce. He certainly does NOT have any right to take your car and the fact that he even hit you is absolutely AWFUL! Definitely dump him as you deserve much better. Don't let him step over you and make your voice heard. I hope your situation will get solved soon. You don't have kids, am I right?
