Also, what bothers me is he treated me different than everyone else. He was much nicer to other ppl than he was to me. It was an honest mistake. He even said mistakes happen. So why couldn't he treat me like everyone else?

Depending on what state you are in-they will probably take it out of your checks until its paid up. If they looked at the cameras and saw it was a genuine mistake the. Maybe they will show you some leniency. It really depends on your track record there. A star employee with no issues would probably just have to pay it back and everyone will go on with their life..but Ive read in some other threads of yours that youve run into other issues on the job. Im hoping you just have to pay it back and thats it, but I dont know that exactly.
