What IS IT with recruiters! They are SO SLIMY!

So, this other recruiter from another agency who contacted me from LinkedIn (I haven't posted about this recruiter here yet) submitted me for a good hourly data entry job. Then told me of a good admin asst job that pays even more that he sent me the job description of, then once he got my approval, submitted me for it. So I thought, "great." BUT THEN I GOT HIS VOICEMAIL. He and his account manager decided to pull my resume from that admin role and submit me to a different one --- WITHOUT CONSULTING ME.

So, I sent a short email to the recruiter that what he and his account manager did was totally inappropriate and unprofessional and that I no longer wish to work with him or his team. If you don't want to submit me for a role, then don't tell me about it or send me the job description first. Then call me back, tell me you submitted me for another role WITHOUT ASKING ME FIRST if I want to be submitted for that role.

I know the bottom line with temp agencies is to fill their open contracts with qualified contractors. But, don't tell a contractor about a job, tell them you submitted them, then call them back to say, "oh by the way, we removed your application from that job and submitted your resume to this other job instead."

That is slimy. SLIMY! How do you back track from that as a mistake? ******mit!

WTF!!!! I HATE TEMP AGENCIES!
