My life is also very repetitive & monotonous. In fact I would say it would be difficult for anyone to have a life that is more so.

The good thing is, I guess, I'm old. So it really doesn't much matter anymore.
The only thing that occurs to me, with regard to making things less boring in a positive way, is to keep learning new things (not that I practice what I preach to all that great a degree.)

For example, I watched a program on our local PBS station a couple of nights back on the four rocky planets in the solar system, how they formed, & what their fates are expected to be billions of years from now.
One of the things that was mentioned in the program was that there may come a time when, as the sun swells & incinerates the 4 rocky planets, some of the moons of Jupiter & Saturn may well warm to a degree that they will, at least for a time, become suitable for the development of life. I found this fascinating & it sort-of sparked my imagination... at least for a while. For me, sometimes, it's just stumbling on new little bits of information such as this that keeps me from expiring from boredom completely. (I should probably make an effort to acquire more new tidbits of information. But I don't.)
