I can't really tell you why you're having the dreams you're having. Perhaps there is material stored in non-conscious areas of your brain that is coming out in your dreams? And, if that is the case, perhaps what these dreams are telling you is that you have unfinished business you need to attend to. (That's just my non-professional take on the situation.)
