the thing that works for me is to just spend only a few minits/ an hour at most on something, and come back to it later
like: my days are usually quite boring, (breakfast, alexa quiz, sod all else), but if I example spend the morning watching a tv programme or listening to some music, I can then return to my quiz later
that kind of thing
though the trouble then is to find stuff that will keep your attention in the meantime
bordom's hard because it can get to a stage where even things that don't usually make you bored, make you bored
