So much of it is psychological. And I have it within myself to create those feelings without alcohol. My assignment before Thursday when I see her is to observe what I’m feeling/thinking when I want a drink, am getting one, and first have it.
We did get to make fun of a comment my T had said at one point, which was kind of a bonding moment. She was like, “he can be pretty blunt!” I think with his being away it sort of helps to talk to someone else who knows him.
Also, she said I should be a therapist.

R sound like a good fit for you and I'm glad your going at your normal pace.
I think you would have the patience for it. have you considered it yourself?
