CCL brings up a great point Amy.......the trigger icon is there for a reason.........it is used when a post has the potential to upset others..........and this poster used that icon properly to warn others about content. Since it was marked properly and in the correct forum then perhaps making an agreement with your system to NOT open any post w/ that icon might be one alternative instead of censorship.

I'm sorry you were scared by a poem written by someone else. I feel badly for the author of the poem as well. Maybe it appeared to be pure hate as you put it but maybe that was the only way that person had to express themselves?

To me it sounds like the author was in a lot of pain when they wrote that poem. If they are visiting this site they probably are like us in having a mental illness and seeking support too.

Let's not forget that people who write things and properly use the trigger icon to identify those posts most likely are also in need of support and acceptance just like the rest of us who visit this place.
