heres the thing with dissociation... if a person is dissociating more the solution is to figure out whats different now then before....

when you are noticing you are dissociating even more ask yourself....

what is different today than yesterday?
what is different today than last week?
what is different today than last month?

another way to figure it out is....

what did I dissociate about just now
what did I dissociate about today..

by locating what is triggering you, that will tell you what you need to do to stop dissociating more...

example the other day I noticed I have been spacing out more lately.

when I asked myself what was different this week than any other time I discovered I was stressing out over a bill that was due at the end of this week.

Dissociation is a normal reaction to a trigger.

the trigger was stressing over a bill. the reason was dissociation.

solution taking a few deep breaths following what my treatment providers plans for how to get grounded, then sit down and work out the bill payment one step at a time.

my suggestion is do what ever your usual getting grounded way is whether that's take a walk, take a shower or what ever helps to calm you. then take time to figure out what the trigger is that is causing you to dissociate more, then you will know what you need to do about that trigger, once you have done that you will feel much better.

my second suggestion is to locate a treatment provider that can help you during these hard times when you do dissociate more. we online cant do that for you. we cant get you to do your grounding we cant get you to stop dissociating and all that stuff. all we can do is tell you how our own treatment providers help us. for actual help with this you will need to find a treatment provider. your medical doctor can help you do that.
