He’s on Doxicycline which is the correct medication for tick borne illness to start with. So far tick titer came back negative when in fact it can be positive. So multiple testing over a few months is needed.

His potassium, sodium, vit K electrolytes were all totally off and liver enzymes very very high, creatin a mess too !

He honestly doesn’t remember much of this whole week. He was a medical train wreck. But he’s really upset about not remembering. I just tried to reassure him he didn’t miss anything fun that’s for sure.

His blood pressure is back up in the healthy range , was scary low last night. No temp.

This bloody trip .... while discharge orders where being written and he started talking about leaving for Florida even earlier??? I flipped and said So ...okay I’ll just not start my Humira injection and also deal with running out of the few much needed physical meds while we are gone, and you trying to breath Florida air in August is going to be horrific!!!

Because it will be too early to fill them, my medication insurance only covers a Med once every 30 days no exceptions, filling while in Florida is a nightmare I have needed to do it in the past but my insurance always kicked it back numerous times, it’s just hell for 2-3 days.

Plus my Humira must be refrigerated hard to do while traveling, a few degrees to cold or hot renders the medication useless. Meanwhile I’m hobbling around because the PsA is so bad in my feet and ankles.

So the stress of him so ill and this trip has me overwhelmed, partially frantic and equally rage-y

I guess we will have to see the Doctor and go from there , I see my rheumatologist the 8th, he won’t be pleased if I tell him I’ll have to delay the twice monthly injection until I get back.
