Hey Moose, I am in the same boat. I've never experienced depression and I am diagnosed as Bipolar 1. I did some research on unipolar mania as well. I also wondered if the meds I was put on helped me to avoid a crash.

My doctors are now rethinking my diagnosis. They said they can say for sure that I experienced brief reactive psychosis. They don't know what caused it and they have no idea if it will return. I'm in watch and wait mode.
