It’s possible. A lot of times, my depressions are mild, where I basically suffer from significant boredom and don’t feel as interested in things as I once was. Then my concentration, stress levels, and anxiety start acting up, and I don’t want to do anything except sleep those negative feelings away. I also don’t find things funny at all -- even stuff that almost made me pee my pants before -- and I rarely smile. Yet I don’t necessarily feel “sad” and I don’t always cry. It’s very anhedonic.
