Awwww....it's a very stressful situation for sure. Sounds like hubby is trying to work on the little things that can add up in the long run....yet has his heart set on some real expensive luxuries too.

Maybe you can sit down with a list of things and say ok, this is what really needs to be done now, and this is what we can put off and do at a later date. Realizing of course that by going so much further into debt at this time will stop you both in your tracks to having anything you really want? Compromising is not always easy.....but it sure can beat the alternative
