Big hugs to all that need it. Scooter mentioned that autumn is not that far off. Autumn is usually my best time of the year, mood-wise. I really hope it brings lots of relief and joy to everyone else, as well. I find it pleasurable because the temperatures become more comfortable, the trees are splendorous with lots of colors, and there is a smell and feel that can't be compared to.

The counter installers are currently at my house. Of course there are some issues, one of which is a plumbing issue. My husband just talked to my brother. He'll be coming tomorrow evening, so we won't have a running kitchen sink until then, at the soonest. When in dire need, we call 1-800-BRO-THER. He always gets a great meal, plus some cash. The installers have done a couple "extras" beyond the norm, as well. We'll give them a nice tip.

We did a lot of prep both yesterday and today for the counters. Of course with stuff out of cabinets, we have plenty of spring cleaning type projects planned. I've already put new contact paper on many of the shelves. I'll finish up the ones without stuff in them. Then I'll move on to the upper cabinets.
