Did they try to raise your remeron dose? It is a bit less sedating (the perfect amount for me when I was on it) but it is backwards; the higher the dose the less sedation and the less weight gain. At 45-60 mg I had no weight gain at all but 15-30 I gained weight rapidly.
Might be worth asking your doctor about?
