Hello NumberTwo: I see this is your first post here on PC. So... welcome to Psych Central.

You asked if it is okay to post in the BPD forum with regard to your X. Probably the best thing to do would be to personal message one of the moderators of the BPD forum & ask their advice. The usernames of the moderators appear in the lower right-hand corner of the forum page.

Typically caregivers, family, concerned friends and partners of people with a mental health issue would post in the Partners of People & Caregivers Support forum. However, since you want to hear specifically from members who have BPD, a post in the BPD forum may be more likely to be seen & replied to by those members. I, however, cannot offer you an authoritative opinion with regard to whether or not what you want to post would be considered appropriate for the BPD forum. Only a moderator can do that.

Here's a link to an article by our host Dr. John Grohol, Psy.D., from Psych Central's archives, on the subject of BPD plus links to 3 additional articles on living with & loving someone who has BPD:

Borderline Personality Disorder: Symptoms & Treatments

Living with & Loving Someone with Borderline Personality Disorder

Loving Someone with Borderline Personality Disorder

I hope you find PC to be of benefit.
