Hmmm...actually No. Borderline is a personality disorder. It is ingrained in your being. It is not a chemical imbalance, so medications do not get rid of it.
Bipolar is a chemical imbalance that occurs because of problems with dopamine, serotonin, and ,.....shoot I can't remember the other one. Anyway, Bipolar can be "fixed" with medication. It is not a part of your being.
So, chances are if anti-depressants triggered something, it was Bipolar.
BUT.....the overlap between Bipolar and Borderline is amazing...so much that some psychiatrists have theorized that Borderline and Bipolar are related somehow.
