Thats true - if you are low riskish, they will let you do a home test, where you basically take a plastic cocktail toothpick and poke your poop. Its still gross!!!
i mailed mine in last year right at the post office, but this year my dr told me to take the sample in the morning and bring it with me to my appointment - the lab is in the same building as my dr - so its fresh!
