I thought lorazepam was working like magic, no problems when on it. Until I lowered the dose and I had huge anxiety looking around for 1 mg. of it when I couldn't find the bottle. I take 10 to 20 mg. of diazepam, if I lower it, I feel like I could jump out of my skin when someone is being nasty to me.
I try not to listen to the world news, it's so depressing. Thanks for sharing your experiences little turtle. Hugs to you.

Lorazepam, diazepam both did not work for me. I felt like I could jump out of my skin if someone was nasty to me when I was taking them... I stopped both after 2 days...
Clonazepam used to work nice but I haven't taken it for a long time now. Maybe I'll try it out again for a while to see how it works. Same for aripiprazole. I may or may not, idk.
I have never had amitriptyline I think. I will google it...
I am only on one psychiatric medication now... trihexyphenidyl 2mg and on another generic one thyronorm 75 mcg for my tsh. And I am doing great!
So that's about it all...
Oh and I do watch world news on TV - BBC and CNN.
sigh.......
