I believe you. I think you've proved you have TRD. After all - you've endured depression for a long time, despite getting treated for it. That's a fact that can't really be argued with.
I find it interesting that oxycodone has seemed helpful to you. I've had some depression relief from hydrocodone. There was a time when opioids were used by doctors to treat depression. That shouldn't surprise anyone. If they didn't make people feel happier, they wouldn't be addictive.
I feel just as fed up as you with being told the same standard things. The pdoc I see now recommended aerobic exercise. I told him I was there to get a prescription for Ritalin and wasn't interested in hearing a lecture on how I should exercise more. He gave me the script. I have to see him every 3 months to continue on this drug, which helps a little bit. He shows little interest in talking with me, which is fine with me. I long ago got sick of getting the same advice from everyone. You remind me of me.
