Are the voices in your head or from outside your head? A friend of mine was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder. It's a junk diagnosis. He is dissociative, bi polar and delusional disorder. We believe his dissociation developed when he was little to protect him from the voices from outside his head. Now as an adult he has two separate worlds that collide causing him to fall deeper into his delusional mind. Unfortunately doctors don't see the DID. But my friend will freely tell you he has a lot of people in his head. All ages and genders. I think DID is a natural part of our mind that goes into overdrive with abuse.
