I know just what you mean. I have done just what you describe, write it out and give it to them.
Can you do it? I mean, can you write it out and address it to the new T, place it in an envelope and drop it in the mail slot?
If you can't do that, can you write it out and give it to them at the beginning of the session and explain that you are very hesitant to talk until you can trust that they will be able to work with you?
