In thinking about things early this morning, I realize I can do much better at self-care. I am feeling quite tired and somewhat depressed. I find it much more difficult to practice self-care under these circumstances. Yet, I also realize I need to interrupt the pattern.
I am feeling overwhelmed and will do much better if I keep attending to various demands. It helps when I re-frame how I am thinking about the tasks.
I have not done especially well with attending to the physical side of things. I am often home alone at dinner time now. I just throw anything together,which is not wise.
I am still recovering from some rather severe Plantar fasciitis.I I am just getting to where I can walk a little longer. I don't have access to a pool.
So much around me, including my daily routine, has changed in a huge way and I am still adjusting.

I really love the way you catch yourself in a behavior and then jump right into doing what you can to self correct. You have inspired me on many occasions.
I do hope your foot improves soon. I know plantar fasciitis can be terribly painful.
Try to find some enjoyment in your self care tasks. You're investing in you and that's the best kind of investment!
