I think...nothing ventured nothing gained? Sounds like he likes you and you like him...at least that’s the vibe I’m getting...if you did try and it didn’t work out...could you still be friends?

I know ppl say you ‘can’t be friends with an ex’ but I am and so is my little sister...she is actually friends with her fiancée’s ex...the three of them are friends...but I digress...I think it works.
